Convergent IP services

As the next generation in telecoms architectures the implementation of IP multimedia subsystems (IMS) is opening up new markets for operators to provide voice, data, multimedia and other convergent IP services to customers as they roam between fixed IP and mobile connections.

 

With an IMS integrated at the application level, operators can significantly extend the delivery of new products and services over their network. These could typically include VoIP, fixed / mobile convergence services, peer-to-peer mobile technologies, IPTV, mobile TV and video on demand (VOD).
